I had my appl recieved on 9th August. Got the acknowledgement letter
again with no CO. Asked around and it seems that it sits there for 4
months doing nothing until you get assigned a case officer. Then they
ask for meds and pcc. Checking through timeline and it seems 4 months
is the going time.
Half way there.......

Have you actually sent your meds and police checks then?
We haven't booked them yet but were talking about it the other day.

Rooksie, are the meds sent to Sydney?
I have just sent off for PCC but thats because living in Ireland this
will take a month and then chances are they will be wrong.
Was going to wait for the meds as because we have to pay for them they
will be done quickly.
Just wondering why they get sent to sydney.
Also you seem to be right about the frontloading being quicker.
Did you hear anything yet?

Definately quicker. I would have frontloaded myself but i do not plan
to move until later on next year so dont want to be tied down to the
date on the meds.
Had my app acknowledged aug 9th. Job is on MODL but not sure if that
effects the time just the extra points. Hoping to go to Perth.
Did you hear about the expo on the end of the month? Just happens i
will be flying home to London on the Sunday morning so i might pop into
town to see what its about.
Checked out your timeline. We are in the same group age wise, family (4
kids) i am a sheetmetal worker. Count me in on that race especially as
i have a head start on you two.
