Hi panchaldharmesh,
Do you have all your documents as met?

I applied about a month before you (Java/J2EE) but still no visa. All documents are met.

So we might need to wait a little longer. I guess at least till the first week of July.

Thanks
Arshad

My all documents are not met. On my Medical and PCC are Met. Can you tell me whether there was inquiry at your current or previous employer. If yes, Whether you came to know about the inquiry.

Thanks

The anticipated time frame on this is by the end of August this year, we
also advise that the DIAC web site is monitored by you for any changes
that may be made to application processing over the next months.

Sandy, I really don't understand what they mean, could you please explain for me? Are you sure that all your docs were MET? I also asked ASPC for the status of my application but as yet replying. I'll post the reply when receiving.

Hi Dharmesh,

I have not had any employment verifications as yet.

I was assigned CO about 3 weeks back. A week back all documents became met including medicals. Right now I am waiting for visa grant and I'm pretty discouraged by the end of august email from Sandy.

Thanks
Arshad

I am bit confused that why CO takes so much time for document verification?
Almost Three months have passed after CO allocation.
Only in-between update was related to my Medical and PCC that turns to MET. Can any one forecast about my Visa grant reading my signature.
Even my Agent is not able to forecast Is any one expert who
can predict expected time frame for visa grant.
How do you expect anyone to know when a decision will be made? Nobody here on this forum works for DIAC and even if they did they wouldn't be telling you on an online forum.

Why nobody sis sharing employee verification experience.......
People want to know how Employee verification is done........
People whose verification is done, they know the pain and curiosity of people who are going through this period......
So why dont you share your experiences in this matter....

I doubt all documents met means the employment verfication is done.

How do you say for sure?

Thanks

I just called DIAC. I asked them whether the rumour that the visas for this year are over is true or not.

She said it is not true and they are currently granting visas.

Thanks

Good ans by DIAC; they are allocating visas to state sponsored applicants (not doubt about it). May be they would be allocating one or two visas here and there to CSL applicants as well. A more precise question would have been to ask if DIAC is still issuing CSL visas? But none the less, thank you for update.

Thanks Mukesam...

Please share employee verification experiences (If it is done).......
I want to know
1. How will they do employee verification (Physical, Over Phone)
2. Whome they contact (Employer, HR, Project Manager or ?)
3. Or else they contact only the person who issued the Reference Letter....
say Project Manager (In my case)
4. Will they call the applicant also? or they will come to work place to meet the applicant at his/her work place....
5. What else is done during Employee verification....

Please share experiences.......

ehtesh.....

Why do you want to know? And how will the answer be of help to your case? Sorry if the question is personally inquisitive.
I think in most cases employment verification will be done covertly. That is why most people can not explain employment with such detail.

I am from India. Here Current Employer never entertain there employees to leave the company. Previous employer never care if they missed to give real information. No employers are interested. In case fake employer entertain
very well as they are know person who has applied but those who have given
all real information of there experience becomes culprit due to mistake done
by there employers. I am not saying this happen every time but it happens many times. So if we come to know then we can remind and request them to give real information of our experience.

Don't ponder whether to inform your current or former employer if this is the case. Inform them now to give the correct information coz always assume the worst will happen. And gather backup evidence as much as possible to counter any false information DIAC might receive. I repeat always prepare for the worst case.
Panchaldharmesh, I'm also from HR country but fortunately my employer is a multinational company and I do hope they do not have malicious attitude. When I was considering to apply for the visa I was also apprehensive with employment verification but now realise that there is not much I can do about it than be honest in my application.
