(175/6 Visa) 18 March 2011 letters

Hi guys..... I got the letter on 18th March, booked and went for medicals in Manchester on 19th April 2011. Doctor told us that results will be sent to DIAC, so expect silence!!!!! All went well there, just sent off for PCC......
Didn't even think to come on here to see if anyone else had recieved THAT letter..... its good to know others are as excited as us or am I jumping the gun????
I applied for 175 independent on 30th November 2010, I am a plumber/gas fitter.......

I did not receive this letter but I got something from GSM Adelaide last March 28 directly asking for a Police clearance, Health and Character checks. I lodged my application Jun09.

Yeah, dead exciting......... the kids are really up for it as are me and oh, cant wait!!!! Checking my emails 5 times a day!!! lol

We received the letter in March, were assigned a CO over Easter and had our meds last Saturday, so just waiting now :-)

I haven't heard anything yet but I applied as late as Jan 2011. I'm happy to hear others have heard from CO, might not be much longer now...

Thanks for the update. It seems DIAC has sent the letters for the people who are from low risk countries as well as for the people from high risk, if their internal and external checking have been completed.
It's just an assumption and do not have any proof at all.
I haven't got the letter anyway. Let's see how it goes.
