To be honest I've not read anywhere about electricians not getting PR without a job offer, It came as a bit of a suprise I must say.
I'd appreciate it if you could let us know what they say about the visa and the conditions attached to it.
The reason for not geting a job was to be able to have a look round for a bit to see where we wanted to settle, It'll be interesting to see how this affects our plan.

Even after reading it on the ITA it never really sunk in. It does seem a bit unfair that certain skilled workers are unable to get PR without a job or licence. Wheras others with no job offers can still get it

Thats exactly what our way of thinking went, have a look around then begin the job search. Keep a look out for a new thread saying'' weve got ??? visa.'' and I will put on all info that will be of relevence to you.
