Re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London
Hello! Just getting ready for our move to Toronto and have a quick question about the Personal Effects Accounting Doc (Accompanying Goods BSF186). My husband and our daughter, who is 1.5 years old, are both sponsored by me. I'm assuming he needs to document his accompanying goods and goods to follow. But what about our baby? Should we fill a separate one out for her or include her stuff on his docs?
Also, is this form http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publicati...bsf186-eng.pdf for Accompanying Goods or Goods to Follow or both?
Thanks in advance for any guidance on these points - appreciated as always!

Include her stuff on his documentation.
He will need one as a Settler and you will need one as a former resident.
If all arriving at the same time then only one BSF 186 needs completing. If any one item exceeds $10,000 then its better to put the BSF in husbands name as the Settler as there is no $10,000 limit on any one item.

Yay! Got our request for photos this morning along with request for updated UK police report. The wheels grind slow and exceedingly fine, but I suppose they get there in the end.

Hey All
Slightly slow to update this but I sent my application in on the 21st July by courier and it was delivered on the 22nd. I haven't received an acknowledgement (which I know is very usual) but it is approaching 3 weeks now. Nothing delivered in my spam box either.

I know we're not applying through London, but if you want to add us to the spreadsheet I can give you the details. It might be helpful for anyone else applying through Sydney.

You could also put your timeline in your signature, so anyone lurking who might be submitting via Sydney will see it there.
Yeah I figured it was very normal and having read through here extensively, I'm not surprised. It's just unsettling.

Re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London
I got an email from CIC today saying to check my online account as it's been updated. Appears they're started background checks, but eligibility still says 'review in progress'.
At least it's moving forward slowly...

Quick update only to say my sponsor has received an email acknowledgement of receipt. Right in line with the average it seems. 3 weeks and a day after they actually received it.

Yep - we are a little bit ahead of you in the queue, I know how you feel! As they say in all the really bad war movies 'it's the waiting I can't stand!!!'
