Thank you everyone for your good wishes! Hopefully Ann Marie, Leg 89 and others in the same boat will follow soon. We were not expecting to hear until next year!! The doorbell rang lunchtime yesterday and it was the postman with a large brown envelope recorded delivery! A great surprise.

Look at the spreadsheet I can see my application was submitted just days after yours so I am also hoping for some good news shortly. I was just curious to know that did your application go straight from application received to decision made on ecas or did it change to in process before going to decision made.
My application is still saying application received and I am beginning to get anxious as I'm hoping this gets wrapped up pretty quickly.

Mine actually went straight to 'decision made'. It skipped 'in process' entirely. Also, I never got an email notification via ecas-
I just happened to check oh a whim.
Yours will hopefully be along soon !!!

Hi all
So just wondering if anyone had any good advice. We received our case notes end of July which said our application is in progress ... I also emailed about a month and a half ago .... Which they said it would be completed shortly .... Several people in my month group have moved along and so many from June/ July etc have already had their decisions made .... I'm just thinking that it must be stuck at some station or however they do it .... Apart from emailing and waiting is there anything else that we can do ??
I just wonder what the hold up is .... Esp seeing as so many others after us have already moved along

Hi guys,
Thought I would let you know my timeline for common law sponsorship
AOR: 9th August 2013
Sponsor Approval: 5th September
Started processing application in London: 26th September
Decision made: checked on October 18th and it had changed to Decision Made!
I couldn't believe that it was this fast! All that hard work and time putting together has paid off. I wonder why mine was so fast and others are waiting? Did the visa office go on strike like in Canada?
I assume I just wait for the COPR? I did my application as outland even though I am living in Canada...so I think it will come in the post. Will I also have to send my passport away?
Good luck everyone and treat my case as hope...obviously immigration can be fast....I have had my fair share of waiting in the past!

Someone somewhere mentioned on a thread about ecas updating on a specific day of the week - can anyone remind me? or is it daily ... trying to NOT check every day - especially in light of all these ones getting through super quick

At some point, someone said it updated on Tuesdays, but that has been disproven many times, lots of people have reported updates on random days of the week. Really it's just up to the case officer who may or may not update. Some epople have timely updates. My application never went to "In process", and only changed to "Decision Made" 4 days AFTER we'd received COPR in the post.
Updated you on the spreadsheet. Congrats!! 70 days is ridiculously fast.
Leg89 and Runningfree, updated you both as well! 150 and 65 days respectively.
Average processing time is down to 5.79 months... however applications filed after April that have been approved are averaging only 128 days, which is about 4 months... seriously this is all ridiculously fast!!!

Just curious if anyone would know if the other forum that uses the spreadsheet would typically have members that update their status as thoroughly as ours do?
Its just that there seems to be significant gaps in terms of people 'going green' and most that I see completing seem to be people that post here?

It is being updated on both, but as you will know it depends on how frequent members of either forum update their status on the forums...Sometimes we have to go searching for members to see if they have updated their profiles and not let the forum thread know, but not often and on occassion some will want added to the spreadsheet when they apply and never come back onto the forum, so you never know what their progress is.
