Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland
There is no entitlement to perfection ever, anywhere. Visa offices are staffed to meet their targets, not the actual larger number of applications received. That situation demands the setting of priorities and adjustments to meet and respond to conditions. Terms such as "disgrace" demean the conversation.
I asked for "try harder and do better"

Feel free to contribute then with some actual insight or analysis. Dropping in occasionally with snide replies to the effect of "you don't know anything so shut up" are exceedingly ironic. Frankly if you have nothing helpful to contribute you should leave.
We have the figures and we can see that processing is getting slower and slower. Do you disagree?
CIC is notorious for woeful communication during processing. People sit for months (or years) hearing nothing. Others make enquiries by email (how dare you want to speak to a human being) and get canned responses that rarely actually answer the question posed. Is there anything inaccurate about that statement?
For those going through it's clear the system is cumbersome, obtuse and not fit for purpose.

So I wrote on here that on Ecas my status went to "in process". I see on the spreadsheet most people hear back within a week or 2.. it's been a month! Should I send another email enquiry? Wondering what is taking soooo long! should be a pretty straightforward application

The current processing time for 2nd stage approval (London CIC) is an average of 10 months - London only received yours on 24th April (from your timeline) so I believe you will have a while to wait yet, unfortunately.
Thank you for your recent e-mail.
I can confirm that your file has arrived in London and is now close to being reviewed by an Immigration Officer, you can expect to hear from us in the next few weeks.
I guess I just have to be patient but it's frustrating seeing everybody else's files being closed and us still waiting..

Be glad that you aren't waiting as long as I did for spousal PR with dependant - 5 years - lol, that would have been frustrating!

It's 10 months for 80% of cases. Not 10 months average, not 10 months for everyone - 10 months for 80% of cases. about 79% of cases will be faster, and about 19% of cases will take longer. And note that is only for the London portion, not the whole process.
Looking at our favourite spreadsheet, the applications that were submitted in September/October last year seem to be getting COPR about now. Average sponsor approval time for those applications was 40 days, and processing time for London is about 152 days (so 6ish months), for a total processing time of 7.5 months.
