Since yours is a spousal sponsorship case the criteria they are unsure of is the sincerity of the relationship and whether you have lived together in a conjugal relationship for at least one year. Expect questions in those areas. Always assuming you do not have a criminal background.

Like you would interpret for her? I doubt they'd like that because you could say whatever you wanted and say it was her saying it

Does this mean she speaks french? If so then she won't need an interpreter.

I assume your interview will be in the UK? I found this site: http://www.quicklingo.com/en/interpr...g-interpreters

It's shouldn't be too horrible, just an extra expense! CIC may recommend where to hire an interpreter from as well..

You can't be an interpreter as you will be interviewed yourself in a separate room.

When we were initially going to hire a lawyer, she advised us that the sorts of questions asked would be the most bizarre questions. ie, about her family, her family doctors name, what side of the BED you guys slept on, very intimate questions about what clothes she wears etc. We had a right laugh looking at the list of example questions because we've lived together for 2 years and probably couldn't of answered some of them! You just have to be honest, you know your relationship is genuine and they're giving you the opportunity to show that. Don't forget to take lots of proof, especially stuff since you sent off your application. I'm sure you will be fine its just a pain in the arse!

You were interviewed too?

And it didnt say anything about me being interviewed.. Its just about her..
No mention of me( the sponser)
So im assuming its just for her.. Now im confused..
And i guess i will take pics of living togeather.. And all.. Plus phone records if i can get em.. Money i sent her.. Etc..

And yea i guess we will find out in a months time..
This really sucks though.. More delays..

Thanks!

Jim - with regards to your above response to the initial question, I was just wondering if you could elaborate on the last part highlighted in bold as to why this would make a big difference in the timing?

Im not jim but its vecause the more places you have lived in the more places they have to contact for background checks..
Its like requesting a police report from every country youve lived in..
