Since you don't have one, leave it blank.

I sent my husbands the spousal application to sponsor hubby 17th Aug tracking said it was received 21st Aug..
Nothing online yet !!
I am worried that because I have not received my children's citizenship (applied for over a year ago) that it may throw up a red flag..they are not my hubbys kids but mine from a previous relationship I am a Canadain citizen (not naturalised).
Hopefully worrying over nothing..my eldest is currently in Canada still awaiting his proof of citizenship and is able to attend school, get medi care etc

Assuming you sent the sponsorship and the application to Mississauga, the processing time for Mississauga is 66 days for approval/refusal of sponsorship, so you have a while to wait yet.

The processing time for Proof of citizenship for 80% is 5 months: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/informa...processing.asp So follow up with the office where you sent the application.

I put this in a separate thread but nobody replied and I'm kind of paranoid about it so putting it here too. In the receipt email we got, acknowledging our application, it had my daughters birth name on it, instead of her step fathers surname. We went to great lengths and money to have this changed legally on her birth certificate and passport and changed all the forms before submitting and I don't understand why they have used her birth name. I double checked my copies of the form and I did put it in right...I'm not sure if there has been a mistake or if they do this deliberately, its just that her passport is in her new surname...my hubby emailed CIC yesterday, thinking that CPC-M would deal with it, but after getting the sponsorship approval letter saying that it has gone to London, I don't know if we should now email them again via London to make sure that they are processing it correctly as email enquiries take up to 20 days...anyone have any advice?

What happens if you have confirmed PR and you get the Passport Request from London...but you need to travel?

I can see that being a big problem for me in October /November when we're expecting the request.

If you're from a visa-exempt country (which I'm assuming you are) you only send copies of your passport (copy of every page) instead of the actual passport, and they issue the paperwork based on that.
