No, you don't have the acronym wrong, but each province has their own Provincial Nominee Program, and each has different streams with different requirements - hence why I asked which province!

A diploma would be fine for the AB PNP, as long as it's from one of the approved institutions (list on the website if you're not sure if the one are you considering is or not). The exact wording says that to be eligible you must 'have obtained a diploma, degree, or have completed a graduate level program'.

It does also say that it must be at least a two year program, unless it's post-graduate (i.e. a Masters, in which case it can be one year). You must also be working on a post-graduate work permit, and have a permanent job offer from an employer.
