I saw that was under consideration in an earlier post. I think we might have to do the same. Nothing since February and over 50 calls and I still can get through passed the automated phone system " All our operators are busy, you can call again later". LOL. Web form as well, but no response.

Applied 02 May. Receipt acknowledged 02 June. Replacement card received on 13 June. If your PR card is taking longer than 6 weeks then there is an issue that requires chasing.

Thank you. 6 weeks…that’s amazing. Maybe ours is in the mail.

That backs a previous comment about how sometimes you actually get the card while there's still no application recorded. At least they're consistent in that particular shortcoming.

Hubby still hasn’t received his new card. We are hoping to get away towards the end of the month. I received mine 2 weeks ago, both renewal applications were sent in together. Hope it hasn’t got lost…again.

Would it not just be easier to get citizenship and cheaper?

2 citizenships are more than enough…we don’t want a third.

Why? There is no downside to getting Canadian citizenship, unlike the worldwide tax reporting for US citizens.

The 60 day processing time is up on Friday…

Overnight hubby received an email stating that his renewal application cannot be completed because the photo has been rejected. He has 30 days to submit a new one. It will be done and mailed back today. Arghhhhhhhhhh

Does anyone know how we can speak to someone about hubby’s long awaited PR card renewal? It is now 11mths since we first applied for our renewals. 3 mths since we applied for a 2nd time. 2 weeks since he sent in yet another photo. It is currently supposed to take 60 days from receiving the application. We wrote to CSC and to our MP months ago…all we received was a computer generated reply saying they were busy. Nothing since then.

I received mine 1 mth ago…yet the website ‘can’t be identified’. Same answer when we look at hubby’s status. What a cocked up system.

My husband just received his renewed PR card last week. He applied in January.

Thanks for the tip to contact our MP. Their office was actually very communicative and gave us little updates over the last couple months.
