Bringing this up from the dead, as I did comment a while back...
350 days after I apploied for a PR card renewal, I finally recieved it today. Despite 9 Web messages via their website, I never got a personal response on the delays until January, when I recieved an automated email (which went to spam!) to say needed new photos as they were not suitable. i assumed they were out of date. Had 30 days to sumit new ones. Contacting MP and the Federal Minister seemed to do nothing.
Dreadful and stressful experience, thankfully I managed to get a PRTD for multiple trips last year to get to see my mum back in the UK for the last time. Had to apply for my daughters PR renewal last week. fingers crossed. See was born in the US, when we renewed her US passport, we had it within 2 weeks...... how different

we are having the same issues applied for citizenship a year ago when the processing time was eleven months have had one update since then applied for new pr cards in december as we are travelling in may it has twice said by email that the passport identification is missing we have uploaded this twice and can see it our end but they cant
gave up with that and redid everything by paper and sent it all in registered post my daughter is travelling in april and it looks like she will have to miss her canadian flight and drive across the border to take one from the US or lose her vacation have sent emails and just get the generic response and when you call the person cant give you any information its a very frustrating process
