I am happy to tell that I received my LOA yesterday. Feels gr888 !!! So It took less than 3 months for me. Letter was issued on 30th July.

I've sent them follow-up email and replied me that they have extremely limited resources for this brief visit, and they will continue to screen and schedule perspective attendees...so I guess, I need to wait for couple more days whether I will be invited to join or not...what I can do now is to cross my fingers and hope for positive response
on the other hand, I'm a bit concern that this mission is only for chinese nationals

unfortunately no news from here, starting seriously to wonder why.
I hope this good news from Milano is a hint that somebody has finally cut this
"Gordian knot" and more good news will finally make their way to us.
