Hi

Mind if I join this thread?

Husbands app was received 6th November and we still haven't heard... got an update that they want a final telephone interview with them last week but nothing since so don't even know if the call has been had yet.

Canadians are so laid back compared to us lot aren't they???

Waiting is driving me nuts!

Hi Geordie Lass,

I think you are friends with our lovely friends Lucy and Jon!
Very true, we are too up tight about things but for that period life is on hold! Looks like you may still have a short wait then but hopefully very soon! Is it common practice to have telephone interviews? and is that with the current or "to be" employer?

Hello!

Yes we are friends with Lucy and Jon! :) Met them when we were over in August!

Not sure if it's common practise or not - posted about it the other day but no-one really knew... Yes it's between "to be" employer and immigration. Current employer are in the dark at this point. Notice to be handed in after we see the LMO!

Christmas would of put at least 2 weeks onto the normal processing time, along with the offices all merging into one central office that's probably another week or so.
No news is good news.

We were told to expect a 12 month one. However no-one applied for my husbands job which I think helped a bit! ;)

Will PM you! :)
