Hi Guys
I'm very delighted to tell you all we've finally got our passport requests!!! We've just landed home from a week in London to find this on the door mat. If only it had arrived a couple of days before we had gone, we could have handed the passports in. Never mind I can't complain as i'm so relieved to have a definate yes!! Can't wait to tell everyone else now. Bye for now.

Hi, yes I had the 3rd blood test at the end of November so CIC have acted pretty swiflty to get the passport requests out considering there was Christmas and New Year in between.
Good luck to you.

Actually we've settled in pretty well and are getting used to things. In fact I just wrote an article about our experiences which is on the front page of this website!

I have read your article and it gives us great support and helps us understand that our worries are not unusual. We are planning to move to the Chilliwack area when we get to Canada in Mid May but haven't yet decided exactly where. We have some friends in Chilliwack who are picking us up from the airport when we arrive and have kindly offered to put us up for a while until we find somewhere to live. If you don't mind us asking whereabouts did you decide to settle in the Fraser Valley?

I'm here on a 6 month holiday/recce and will be using my return ticket (late May) to go back and collect my golf clubs and 2 suitcases (full) that I left at my sisters place. Hopefully by then everything with cic will be completed so will be able to buy a one way ticket, say my goodbye's and land
