No doubt since you've been looking out of the window to see if a queue of brown bears are walking up your garden path!

I suppose you have it Scottish style with salt instead of sugar? Ooops, back to the recipe thread

He has now discovered our hedge which has a coaltit and two chaffinch nests, all with babies ready to fledge in about 6-7 days times. Having already started to empty the nests, I've kept him locked up[ in the conservatory for the past two days but I can't do so for another week - allergies, cat going crazy etc.

Any suggestions? He heads for the hedge the minute he is free and he will empty the nests as soon as he is let out. I know the laws of nature are at times cruel but I'm wondering if moving the nests would work or would the mother desert them
Find him a nice home and get a dog.

No bears Fen though I did catch sight of a fox, a large brown one at that - never seen foxes like it

Fib, no other way to have it - especially now I can't have sugar - salt and a touch of cream or milk once served up, keeps you going for hours :-)

Beaverstate, I have one of those and she's more trouble than the cat. The babies have now either fledged or the cat got them as they are no longer in the nest - ever the optimist, I'll think the former
