Doh - I drank the last of the palinka we brought back from Hungary!

I was seriously looking at buying a still but not actually for making palinka. What I actually want is an indirect cylinder like we have in UK for heating the water using a central heating boiler. I can't get one in Hungary or Croatia but I did find a steel tank with a spiral of copper pipe inside. It is open at the top so it would need to have a ballcock to control the water level and it would need plenty of insulation but it might just work.

I have been quiet well lately owing to health problems, so no moor on this topic 2 things Tesco on offer Palinka Kit on offer at 49.82fh witch can be heated ether on gas stove or electric hob, seconded I have not had any feed back on my own brand of Palinka maid from Marrow I now reluctant to have any think other than Tea but I enjoy giving this potent mix to others, I will make my last batch next year I intend to sow some 250 plants witch should yield a bought 350 lts. plus just for any friends digger47.5

I wondered where you had gone Digger - nice to see you in the Kocsma You'll have to wait for my verdict on the marrow rum as I left it in Hungary, didn't remember till I got to Germany but thankfully hubby is tee-total so it will still be there when I return in a few weeks time.
