There are several Hungarian companies that can supply 1.8 dishes, you just need to contact them for the details as they tend not to be listed on the sites and are for pre order only.

This site has a 1.5 dish for around £250 and should be able to supply a 1.8.

This site has the same 1.5 though it is slightly more expensive but they state that 1.8 dishes can be ordered - so worth giving them a call or dropping them an email.

I am usually pretty good with tv/hi thingymajigs but all the posts ref English TV in Hungary has got me beaten to a pulp. I was going to buy an 80mm dish in England with a satalite receiver but I am confused now. My partner refered to Sky which there is a service in Hungary that you pay the rate for but we haven't got Sky in England so I dont know. Mmmmm very confusing

Wow, that's quite a jump from the 170,000 ft quoted - what do they attribute the extra 230,000ft (or thereabouts) to?

Hi Rural,
Don't know I do have a detailed breakdown though. I have contacted these guy's before regarding a 2.4 Dish and that too was expensive (around 4000 euros) I have found some other's cheaper companies which I have passed on to Keith who is investigating all the quote's. He too found 1 for around 910 Euros complete with Afa and delivery, so watch this space I guess.

I have just got off the phone with the man in charge again. They have confirmed that, even with the new prices coming in, it would come to195,000forint....confirmed. even with afa (VAT 27%) it is still £700. Why are you asking for prices in euros when you are in Hungary?

Is it possible to copy and paste the text of the breakdown so that we can see if there are any hidden extras they are charging for?

And there are "the hidden" extras. The NPRM and LNB - whatever they might be. Is the NPRM included in Keith's price or is it just the LNB?
