You pays your money and you takes your choice, if you choose to go to these places then that is what you will find, brits seem to be a little sheep like in their mentality and go where everyone else is, if you want to find places to eat that arent "spain/blackpool/weston SM or the like" then just go beyond and not far from the bright lights and you will find some great places.

Just to warn you that one of the Regal properties was broken into this week, so keep your doors locked.

Isn't there security in there? And by using the term "broken in" suggests the door was locked - how did they get in?

Yes there is security, but as everywhere else they sleep. Apparently it was the first floor. I don't know any more details. Mind it is a big site and it could have been somebody renting there, as happened the the Enclave.

I think you will find that the majority of people who emigrated or left the U.K. for Goa, did'nt do it to escape the "boring pastimes". Most did it to escape the crap weather and high cost of living.
Everybody knows that Goa is the "Blackpool" of India, Sinquirim to Baga being Goa's Golden-Mile, and I'm surprised that you cant buy Kiss-Me-Quick hats and sticks of rock here.
For all its faults and politics, I'm not ashamed to say that I still prefer being here than the U.K. (Most of the time)
