Maybe the more people who contact them to point out the error of their ways, the better?

It did not happen to me despite my two cases being similar in size and very different in weight (one case contained nothing but another empty case) but I travelled back in April so as the tourist season is now over they are possibly looking for ways to amuse themselves.

Theresa May addressing the National Police Federation Conference......

Reading this - is she really suggesting that cutting police pay and reducing police numbers is actually responsible for cuts in crime according to her figures?
What an idiot............the 'cut in crime figures' which get published are actually manipulated at the direction of the Home Secretary to give the electorate the 'right impression'.......

I wonder how accurate this survey is ???
While I could agree with the figure of 44.5% of Indian people that are intolerant of 'difference' (could be more!).
From personal experience, observation (and reading the Daily Mail!) the figure of 0-4.9% for 'Britain' is way too low.

The problem of racism is really highlighted when governments form racist laws. (form rather than pass) as is the case in Goa.

Shame? Yes. A shame our law breakers are too interested in seeing how THEY can abuse systems, in their own interests.
Shame the people of the UK, by and large, decent, law abiding people are taken to the cleaners by successive lawbreaker governments. Shame the duck pond, second mortgage wallahs are still in power. Shame these people have the power of life and death over the people but cannot get rid of a convicted terrorist. For the first time in my long life, I'm ashamed to call myself British. Bail outs for banks, tax cuts for the rich, cuts in social works. Not the type of society many gave their lives for. Democracy? Yes for a day once every five years, then it's business as usual. Support democracy, we're told. As in Afghanistan?

Wish the pub was open!! 3 o'clock and I'll be buzzing!!

On what planet does the idiot quoted in this article live to describe £65K as a 'pitiful wage'?
Not a bad pay rise when you consider the stringent cuts to wages earned by police, firefighters, paramedics and other public sector workers.........

........interesting analogy comparing MPs to monkeys....personally I've always found primates to be highly intelligent creatures........can;t say I have noticed the same with the average MP !!

If they think 65k a year plus generous expenses is peanuts then they are well out of touch with the hardworking public most of whom would be overjoyed to get half as much without the expenses. I always thought of MP's as being public sector employees after all they are elected by the public to work for the public so they should get the same pay rise as they are recommending for the rest of the public sector employees and their pensions should be on the same basis.

iirc some years ago MP's salaries were linked to a particular Civil Service grade. Since they started paying them (£650 a year???) I have always proposed that they should get some multiple of the national average/median wage - a tiny link to the real world!

What an absolutely despicable act !

There is also a video being widely shown of one of the attackers who apologises that women had to witness the murder then states that women witness such things all the time in "his land" - "his land"presumably not referring to the UK - yet this man speaks with a pseudo black Cockney accent..........and is probably speaking about a land he has likely never even visited !!

How the hell do you deal with terrorists when they have been brainwashed into believing that death means glorious martyrdom?
