OK, followed Mr Hemingway's links to e-bay, read thru the description, and ...............
Suddenly I remember why I stopped reading it, its 3 of a series of 4, and a couple of chapters in I felt the overwhelming need to read the first two before progressing further.
Although this is the "Goa" volume, still needed to read the prior two volumes to do it justice.

More like the book has gotta stuck to me ... I got to hear of it while it was being written so I contacted the author and we exchanged messages. I was rewarded with a proof copy of the book, prior to publication.
Years later my wife caught a train, began to read it and became aware of a Jewish woman across staring at her. Turned out that both were reading from the same book. They became friends and so has the author ...

Unlikely................ same as UK, the banks will have their snouts in the trough first.
There is a common misconception (often held by those who haven't worked in the private sector very much) that this money comes from the company's assets, it doesn't it comes indirectly from the government, hence our taxes.

So this reads that a family of four, arriving from the UK, can now get visa on arrival?
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/i...w/19940657.cms
No matter how many times I read it.............. that's what it says
Anyone want to test it?

Yup - that's what it says..............but it seems you still have to do the online application beforehand......
Hope this doesn't mean they will do away with the longer T visas

There has never been any suggestion of this from official sources, more that they will run as parallel systems.
However, given the traumatic events surrounding Indian visas in recent years, its not surprising that people fret

Your group also have to book through an Indian travel agent and the travel agent has to accept responsibility for you!

Similar situation when Indian travellers come on package tours to Europe. The Indian travel agent organises everything including visas and (sponsorship by hotels I presume) they have to take out medical insurance. However not allowed to travel out side the package.

Not the same though, they say that everyone has to book through an Indian travel agent - not just Indians.
