Its laughable if it wasn't so serious. Same as the Lifeguards - sleeping under boats, no radios to keep in contact with one another. The jeep being used by the police, and the police just collecting their weekly/daily money off the beach girls. Counting sunbeds, when there could be a terrorist attack, feel safe with the men in Karki I think not. :curse:

It would appear that a lot of people booked while the summer schedules were in force and were not told that the winter schedules (1/11/08) would be in force when they flew and would be very different. We only knew because we booked two returns, 1/8/08 - 31/10/08 and 20/11/08 - 4/5/09 (you get discount for buying in bulk  ) The lack of info seems to have been at the point of booking, but then Jet always made last minute changes which were actually to bring you in line with winter timings (again) |

http://www.organiser.org/dynamic/mod...id=267&page=11 Goa: A haven for anti-social activities Posted in the Goan Voice today Interesting but very, very politically motivated and anti-Congress biased. The publication concerned is clearly a mouthpiece for the BJP and even the more extreme Hindu organisations such as those involved in the attacks on Christians earlier this year. (all this is clear if you go to their "home" and "about us" pages) The previous articles were clearly "grinding an axe" but with what appeared to be youthful enthusiasm rather than political prejudice (albeit from the safe comfort of an ex-patriate Goan existence in Canada) Goan Voice automatically collects any media output that mentions Goa. We as members of this forum can ( and should?) be a little more selective or at least qualify or define what we bring to the attention of others................ Johnny Five times more serious than usual  |
