Meet up
 

Anyone interested in a meet up over the next few weeks. I'm free any day of the week, but if people are working, thought about Saturday 5 July? I don't mind driving for a hour or so, was thinking somewhere near to Mayenne so people like Jazzy n Lol and flutterfly could possibly join in, and maybe we could even entice G-J-B out of Paris:rofl:
Otherwise, I know quite a few possibilities here close to Carentan:thumbsup:
Weather is good and thought it might be nice to put faces to names:eek:
especially as Novocastrian will have finally made it over (there goes the neighbourhood:blink:)
I'm off down south for a couple of days from tomorrow (doing a Thelma and Louise trip with friend from UK:rofl:) but will catch up when I get back and arrange things if there is interest.

5th July is great for me, don't mind driving somewhere, wherever is central to the majority, Le Chant is nearish too.

Near ish thats 500Km's from here....were off to England on the 9th but we have already booked our flights and im looking forwards to a nice Curry and Chinese.

And what plonker added a limit to the number of images in a post because i just double quoted and got a warning when i tried to post.

5th is a no-no for us. It's a Sat'day and we're manic with changeovers on all three gites, plus we have the campers coming & going too. Any chance of it being the 6th or 7th?

Gonna be a no go for me too now. All of a sudden I have loads of friends that need to stay in the south of France and most weeks are booked up now (feel I should put hotel sign out the front lol).

A shame as that is good idea. Had a good couple of nights with macthedonny at the weekend.

Unsurprisingly, I'm in. :rofl:

We arrive on the 1st (actually on the 30th, but we're spending the first night in Honfleur).

Either the 5th or the 6th is fine.

Personally, we can fit in anytime, would be a shame for you to miss out because of work stuff.

I'd love to (despite my lack of a car), unfortunately it clashes with my brother's wedding, so I'm going to be in England for that part of July.
Be sure to take lots of photos!! If any of you are ever in Paris, drop me a PM.

looks like Sunday is going to be the best day for everyone too
think we need to look for somewhere central for those of us that can make it, so no-one is travelling too far, and has a train station!
Jazzy n'lol did mention Laval, don't know how easy that is for PJ to get to on the train though?
I'm just literally on my way out of the door now heading for Saumur. Will look at options as we drive down, although would be great if anyone else knows of a nice restaurant that way. I know Le chant said he didn't mind driving for a hour or 2 and I am the same. He and I are about 3 hours from each other, with Jazzy in the middle more or less, so maybe we could put a pin on the map and see what we come up with:rofl: Might be an idea to see where there are vide greniers that Sunday too.
