especially as Novocastrian will have finally made it over (there goes the neighbourhood)
I'm off down south for a couple of days from tomorrow (doing a Thelma and Louise trip with friend from UK) but will catch up when I get back and arrange things if there is interest.

5th is a no-no for us. It's a Sat'day and we're manic with changeovers on all three gites, plus we have the campers coming & going too. Any chance of it being the 6th or 7th?

Gonna be a no go for me too now. All of a sudden I have loads of friends that need to stay in the south of France and most weeks are booked up now (feel I should put hotel sign out the front lol).

I'd love to (despite my lack of a car), unfortunately it clashes with my brother's wedding, so I'm going to be in England for that part of July.

think we need to look for somewhere central for those of us that can make it, so no-one is travelling too far, and has a train station!
Jazzy n'lol did mention Laval, don't know how easy that is for PJ to get to on the train though?
I'm just literally on my way out of the door now heading for Saumur. Will look at options as we drive down, although would be great if anyone else knows of a nice restaurant that way. I know Le chant said he didn't mind driving for a hour or 2 and I am the same. He and I are about 3 hours from each other, with Jazzy in the middle more or less, so maybe we could put a pin on the map and see what we come up with Might be an idea to see where there are vide greniers that Sunday too.
