Re: Vetassess Electrician Elective HELP
Hi All,
I've got my practical assessment next Friday at Blackburn.
Are you required to fill out the elective before the assessment or on the day?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Ian

That's what I am looking to do. What evidence are you supposed to attach at the end? I thought stage 1 of the vetassess you provided all the information they needed regarding qualifications and experience! Now you get over that hurdle you have to do it again with the elective.

Hi Liam,
How much you write in your elective is down to you, but my advice would be to go into as much detail as you can and explain everything you are writing about step by step how you went about carrying out the task and why you did it that way.
Also the evidence i provided was an A1 copy of a 2 drawings i installed a fire alarm system and an emergency lighting system too, a copy of the fire alarm commissioning certificate, and a copy of the emergency lighting test certificate.
You hand in your electives to the Vetassess assessor on the day of your assessment and he puts it in your file as part of your evidence pack.
Good Luck
