I've learned today that the biggest application backlogged countries are Morocco, Tunisia, Pakistan, Malaysia and Algeria.

India wasn't mentioned as one but might be too far behind.

I thought that , our bio 9th march from Inda. look like they not intend to look at our applications at all . rang yesterday and thought she might say your decision been made but she said wait till 31 October , ridicules really .never come across such a useless authority before like ho. good luck everybody waiting

Hi same here still waiting from match too has twice not straightforward ! this is very stressful we all have job to do why they don`t do theirs bunch of bureaucrats

A well informed source on there seems to be helping make sense and give advice to a lot of people.

I do not know her background but join the group and you can see she receives quite a lot of praise.

Has anyone been asked to provide evidence that their partner/spouse is a British Citizen? I'm asking this as when we received the "your application is not straightforward email", we also received another one asking to supply a scanned copy of my passport page (British Citizen). In the application we'd provided all of my details including passport number, date of birth and everything required and we still cannot see anywhere where it asks for scanned copies etc.

We're currently on day 86 and after it taking them 2 weeks to reply saying thanks for sending the additional documents, they then said it had been escalated and it would take a further 15 working days for a direct response. As my wife hadn't heard anything on day 16 after this, she emailed back asking whether it had been escalated and asking for confirmation. The response was a standard it's waiting to be processed and if you'd supplied everything which was needed it wouldn't be taking so long.

We did and so that's why I ask if anyone else had to submit additional proof that the partner is a British Citizen aside from what was required on the application?

We included a copy of my passport information page. I don't remember why, but we thought that was needed. I probably got it off this forum, as it was much more useful than the UKVI guidelines.
