Three Years in Alberta

What a good thread, well written. I can echo some of those feelings, but overall it was the right move for us. As for making Canadian friends, we found that hard, but have a few who we met through work, and surprisingly a few we have made friends with through other English people. Totally agree about wanting to work part time, but finding that hard, and still don't have an inkling for a trunk, but sort of fancy an RV, but will stick with the tent for a little while longer
Thanks for the thread really enjoyed it

Great post Ann, hope things get better for your hubby on the work/friendship front. Sounds like you both have a really positive attitude which is definately a plus if you embark on the emigration journey.
Good luck for the future,

I also hardly ever read the Canniversarys but when I saw yours I did as I always like your posts. We too have been here just over 3 years and I have gone from homesick to ambivilent. Not sure I'll ever feel 100% happy about where I live ever again.
