It’s probably fine, I’ve had the same scepticism about the bill payments list but I understand it’s difficult for rogues to get on these lists.

can’t you just link your account in Wise so that it’s completed by EFT… this is the cheapest option on wise but not sure if they’ve got transaction size limits. This is the method I use to transfer from CAN to UK rather than bill pay.
