what do you do at the weekend in canada?

Just thought i would start a little thread of inspiration for all to share.
We all watch the weekends come and go and what do we really do with it!
Well I am off to my trailer this weekend. Looks like the weather is with us here in Ontario. Light the campfire, roast a few marshmellows(now i have been shown how to actually do that properly). A few beers and soak up the sun. Steaks on the a BBQ.
Oh yes! and fight off the blasted mossies!
check out a few yard sales. I love a bargain!

My weekend will involve power-washing and re-treating the deck (I don't know what possessed the previous owners - the thing is huge), sundry gardening, trying to fix the BBQ and, hopefully, making a start on the built-in closet my missus informs me we need in the bedroom. I'd like to go cycling in Gatineau Park but my bike is out of action.

That sounds like the life of a typical Canadian parent! I pity you if your kids are hockey players too.

At the moment It’s get out in the good weather having spend to long inside this winter and with the decorating being held back for any bad weather..
Planned in for the best weather is a bit of camping and when weather conditions are perfect a bit of paragliding…
With as much hiking fitted in as possible

Sorry new to Canada,
The last weekend I jumped in the car and drove to Banff. Went for a walk with my wife and our dog. Once I work out how I will post the photos. I really don't need to say anything more!

you can bet your life there is antiques. An antique is only 100 years old. Canada was first settled I think at least 400 years ago by Europeans...probably longer. and then you have first nation antiques that go back 1,000's of years.
