Yes, gravel is common, though some major routes are swept - Sun Peaks road, the old Merritt Highway (Kamloops to Merritt), Spence's Bridge Road too, all great biking roads. It's rare they're done much before June though.

It's year round. I use Intact for comp and of course those other thieving gits for the rest. The brand as well as the displacement affect premium unfortunately and ICBC don't recognise any value in advanced training.
