i managed to get flights from st john's to aberdeen (via halifax/london on the way out, london/toronto on way back) for just over $1000 yesterday on aircanada website.
really tight connection time coming back (but over legal minimum), so just going travel with hand luggage.

Just curious to know direct flights to where as there has never been direct flights from Halifax to Glasgow via Air Canada. I can see one cheap ticket for sale that is from Halifax to London... ?? Is that what flight you mean has been cancelled? I hope it doesn't change for me... to book or not to book that is the question lol
