Couldn't you just buy books from Amazon USA and have them sent?

I have done that before and had books sent from America to Britain because it has either worked out much cheaper that way or the book hasn't been widely available over here.

Bird's Instant Custard is available in all grocery stores in BC. It's been available here since the 70's and 80's.

Another case of "products available in one part of Canada aren't necessarily available in another part of Canada".

You can readily get Birds Custard Powder here in Red Deer but not the Instant boil the kettle poor on powder and there you go, custard mix.
