Pressure from parents, hate Canadians, hate the weather, hate the vast size, hate the shopping, hate being too far away from the UK, don't like the schools, like the schools, isolated, not isolated, too far way from the sea, too close to rivers, don't like the outdoors, love outdoor sports, don't like hockey, like football too much, hate the TV, can't get broadband, got broadband works ok, mobile phones don't work properly, too expensive, very cheap, can't get alcohol, restaurants close too early, restaurants down town are great, can't get a job, getting jobs are easy, don't shop where there's a tire sign, shop in the cheap places, live in the cities, live in the suburbs, don't drink the water, creek water is lovely, live near schools, don't live near schools, don't get an inground swimming pool, never can do without a swimming pool, live in the country, live in the city, live in Winnipeg, it's great, live in Toronto, it's great, live in Vancouver, it's great, live in Halifax, it's great, no crime, people shoot each other in downtown Toronto, 3 people tied to chairs in Ottawa and murdered, landfills don't stink, don't live next to landfills they stink, only make friends with Brits, Canadians don't have a sense of humour, Canadians have been in Canada since before tectonic plates, too many flies, not seen any flies, too hot, too cold, don't have a long driveway, snow clearing at minus 30c, don't like the neighbours, don't speak French, no need in Quebec, you have to speak French in Quebec otherwise don't bother, they love the accent, they take the pi$$ out of your accent, flights are cheap, flights are expensive, beer is tasteless, we've done well, we've had to go back home, my husbands left me for a Canadian bloke, it's boring, it's exciting, bear attack, aren't bears cuddly, exchange rate is crap, can't sell the house, drowning in information, don't like flying, all my electrical equipment is useless, nice mountain views, I didn't realise Ontario was so flat, flooding basements... I could go on but have to get the cases out the loft ready for our flight tomorrow.

Zimmer frame sawed up and welding gear packed. No porridge, just me Ready Brek, iPOD, mobile phone and laptop. My good wife's doing the rest, just resting and watching the same episode of The Vicar of Dibley for the 34th time. Then shower, take me teeth out, unscrew me leg and go to bed.
Zoom plane leaves for Ottawa at 11.10. Tomorrow morning that is.
