That 'quality of life' thing

For us it's being way more relaxed.
Life is less hectic. We can afford for me to be home with the kids, (hub works full time) and we feel our money goes further, so we can afford the little extra's in life we had to go without in the UK.
We both worked hard in the UK, yet still seemed unable to progress to owning the nicer house, the new car, the holidays twice a yr. Here we now have all that, and we aren't busting a gut to do it, or more importantly, we aren't getting into loads of debt to do it.
I love the climate here. So sunny yr round, even in the dead of winter, the sun shines. Its nice.
We do more outdoorsy stuff. The UK rain really stops people from getting out and about, yet here, even in winter people are out making the most of it.
Canada isn't perfection, but for what we wanted out of life, Canada has delivered. We have been lucky. We still miss loads of stuff about living in Cheshire, but day to day life is good for us here.

We aren't there yet, but one reason we are moving is for the skiing!
