An offer on the house!!!

Hi all
We have accepted an offer on our house

Not getting too excited yet, mortgage hopefully being sorted Monday for the purchasers who are buy to let investors so chain free.
Also we have an agreement to remain in the property renting until we are ready to go to Canada, so we don't need to actually move out
They are friends so are happy that they are not going to do the wotsit on us and this has come completely out the blue, maybe the tide is starting to turn

Well done that is cracking news. It should be plain sailing as you know them
I changed E/A over the weekend for a more aggressive sales team so I'm having an open house mid Oct. What is good about the company is they have arranged for 5 of the team to view the property in the meantime so that they can push the property. Never seen or heard of that been done before.
So fingers crossed for us both

Hi Nikki - Just to say congratulations that is excellent news!
We have had our house on the market for about the same time as you but so far only one couple has viewed (mind you they viewed it 3 times and love it).... but they still have a property to sell somewhere down South.
We've also dropped the price £20,000 after already bringing it on the market £20,00 below the estate agents valuation.
It is so soul destroying!

We have dropped 30k from the original asking price, its so difficult to know what to do but feel we have got to take this and get on with things, we may not get another chance

Good luck that your hopeful buyer gets a sale for theirs soon and you too can move on

May have to take offer.
Then drill some holes in the roof so it leaks every time there is a drop of rain.
