Gawd!!! The amount of terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE music that has been inflicted on the world by Canadians is truly embarrassing. I apologize. |

I think you'll find that the correct term is 'muff diver'
My friend (a lesbian) thinks that he can no longer get it up but I take the view that, if he was straight, he would have banged the bridesmaid early in the film rather than given her Rolling Rock. |

As an authority on such issues, Deer Hunter, what's your take on DeNiro's character in the film? Is he gay or is his inability to shoot the second stag somehow symbolic of impotence brought on by his tour in 'nam?

We're kind of in the same boat, mate. I am non Brit, live there though. I didn't just think about living in Canada when I was 18. I actually did it and have wanted to go back ever since. I am past 40 (will be 42 later this year).
Unlike you have no partner, spouse or child on the way. Totally independent, I am. Good luck to you. T'ronno is the best city in the world. |

I wish I was in T'ronno right now as the winters there are drier and not so damp. I can stand the cold out there much better than in UK. Anyway - I hope it won't be years but only a matter of months before I'm out there. Cheers |

Used to it. Strangely enough. -25 in T'ronno isn't as bad as -25 in Sweden. As I said - drier type of cold. Mind you -4 in UK feels like -40 anywhere. ARGH! Apparently we're getting snow on thursday. Yesterday felt like spring was here. |
