We're OK for Sunday 13th at the mo', as long as the bossman doesn't want to send me to North Shore again (will be in Tata again probably this Thursday I think if anyone is around)

eeeek 5pm!!! Oh well, we had better pick somewhere else because we have a 1.5 hour drive home afterwards I don't want to do that in the dark in case its snowing (again).

Not very scenic but there are a few places like Montanas, Boston Pizza, Jacasters etc in Bayer's Lake shopping district. Any other recommendations????

East Side Mario's has a good lunch menu, caters for children etc. Have long tables so a crowd can sit together. Down by Chapter's.

Surprised about your comments about the airport. Can't think of many places where the airport is right in the centre of town
Think Halifax airport offers pretty good access for most of NS. and, depending on traffic/weather etc. only takes about 30 mins to get to Halifax or Dartmouth, 15 mins. to Bedford.
You are right just mentioned it because I noticed many people coming in from away think they can get off the plane and stay in Halifax, because they are already there.

Still don't know were you were? Which stairs would that be? We went in the Lower Deck and it was empty. If there was an upstairs we never saw it, the place was very dark. We did not hear any noise at all. I was just disapointed for the others.

Me & other half are well up for another meet.

Hi Nixfix,

Will be back from the South Shore tomorrow night, so could meet for a coffee at http://www.sunmerc.com/ on Thursday if you have time. Just let us know.

East Side Mario's sound like a plan to me. How does 1pm suit everyone?

PS - makes mental note never to mention Costco again

1pm, Sunday 13th, East Side Marios, we'll be there. Just the two of us though as sproglets are staying in the UK with Nan and Gramps.
