Good point! ESMs does get busy and 1pm on a weekend lunchtime is always a very busy time (I'm a bit of an expert on ESMs although I've yet to visit ESM at Bayer's Lake - I'm generalising!). I would recommend (in priority order)
(a) booking a table;
(b) going earlier (12:00) or
(c) going later (2:30)

Last edited by Esme; Apr 11th 2008 at 12:50 pm. Reason: realised they wouldn't be open at 11:45 on Sunday!

I was thinking if its busy then maybe a later time of around 2ish would be better as the staff may not try to get our table out the door quickly if the lunchtime rush is over. It takes us 1.5 hours to drive down to Halifax so earlier than 12 is not the best for us.

So does around 2ish suit us all?

So far I know there will be:

Myself and Mr Y-C-D
Or4ngecrush
Nova Boy and B
L i s a, hubby and little 'un (how's his accent coming along?)
Poppy
Mr & Mrs Kazbob
Mr & Mrs Nixfix
Poppy - are you still coming and if so, how many?
Esme - are you joining us?

Anyone else interested?

Provided it's not a scorcher Esme is planning on being there (dogs will be in car for duration of meal)

If it is a scorcher you can stick your doggies in our garden whilst you are there -we are only round the corner from where you are all meeting.

Oops AmyDavid, forgot to add you to the list. How many of your family will be coming along?

We can't make it - but my garden is available for Esme's dogs if she needs it!

We came last Thursday and have been unable to get to a computer until now. So inevitably turned up at 1pm , to find no-one there. The waitress did say there was a large booking for 2pm but we couldn't make it at that time as we had to meet someone at 3.30pm. Sorry we couldn't make it and bit miffed that we didn't get to meet you all. Maybe we'll make another one.
