Hello All,
Just made an offer to rent a condo in montreal, subject to stuff being included etc. I havnt rented a place through an estate agent/realtor before (always from private landlords til now), what are likely to be the next steps (lease first then deposit etc)?

Did you give a holding deposit and complete a rental application?

The main drawback with renting a condo is that at the end of the lease the owner may decide to sell and would possibly only offer you month to month rental.

Check it over carefully, most rentals in Quebec are for a year , July to July.
