Hi we also flew with Thomas Cook and we were allowed 30kg per case and 5kg per handluggage on premium. Luckily we just made the limit but my o/h bag was so large and couldn't be weighed that they just put it in the large baggage section as they doesn't need to be weighed. So it might be worth using a large bag also as we managed to get all our stuff that we might have had to leave behind, such as some of his tools for his trade as he was working right up until we left. All the best.

I had my rollaboard suitcase weighed and measured the other day, to make sure it was OK as carry-on. That made me giggle as it was much lighter than my briefcase.
