Been in Saskatoon about 16 months now, our twins were born 2 months after we arrived from Ontario.
Moved across from Ealing about 3 1/2 years ago (Welsh originally).
Enticed to Saskatoon by an old friend from Kent.
Work with him now and there is also a fella from Sheffield, another from the black country and a Scot, so a fair few just where I work

Although occasionally I will hear an accent from the old country!

I work at a Bio-Science firm on the University campus, live in Massey Place on the west side of town.
I really like Saskatoon, it's a similar size to where i lived in the UK (Peterborough). I originally started out in Montreal (living & working on the West Island) then moved to the GTA (worked in Mississauga/Oakville, lived in Georgetown). Montreal was great, the GTA not so much (probably because my job disappeared in the recession and I was out of work most of the time). However I've no regrets at where my life has taken me.

My path is eerily similar to above, worked in Montreal for about 9 months on a contract before returning home (Ealing at the time), then returning to work in Kitchener, Ontario with intentions this time to stay n Canada.
Moved here last year.

Hubby starting to feel the strain on his own, cant wait for us to join him, thats 10th July but missing me and kids and social aspect badly, going home to the Hilton on his tod isnt cutting it!!! Likes the job but we are in despair as our house here still hasnt sold, rental accommodation is difficult to find in Saskatoon with 2 dogs and 1 cat! and its expensive, unfortunately our finances are tied up in UK home and its doing our heads in!!!! Looking at renting our house out and hoping that works.

Hi there guys,we're in Sask soon to move out to Warman,if you are struggling to rent with pets although most of them say no pets once you speak to the owners some will let you have them, most locals are really easy going and a phone call or even a face to face meeting might work,it's worth putting a little effort in with them...
Amazing how many Brits are around here.......
