Default Living in Saskatoon

Hi Guys, I joined this site about a year ago I think but have never used it, so Im a bit of beginner.
I moved here with my family, hubby & 3 kiddies just over a year ago but Im finding it very lonely. Ive found Canadians in general are very friendly but unless you've grown up together your basically an outsider. I miss my friends back in the UK but dont want to go back as I love it here and so does my family, I just need to make some friends.
Does anyone else feel this way?
Does anyone on here live in Saskatoon?
xxx

Have you tried any of the meetup groups in Sask?
My wife joined one here in Sherwood Park, AB and met loads of friends through it- English and Canadian.

Also, might be worth looking to see if there is BE meetup in Saskatoon...
Good luck.

I'm also living in Saskatoon (I moved here in October last year) and I feel the same. I don't want to move back to the UK, either, but making friends here hasn't been easy...

I am Canadian and have just moved back to Saskatoon from the UK with my English partner having lived there for 7 years. I found the same problem in the UK. PM me Rooander and Matero.

Okay, this is number 3 so should be able to pm you now. My partner comes from London. We've only been back about a month here in Saskatoon and have been busy unpacking boxes so haven't had much chance to do the social scene. My family is here which helps. I know there used to be a strong British community here because they all turned out at FolkFest but I've lost touch the past few years.

I'm also in Saskatoon, been here about a year now. However, I've lived in Canada since 2001 in various places.
