You could have them rewired in Canada which may be expensive and difficult or change the plug and bring bulbs (110V). We did that for two special lamps of mine, we brought enough bulbs to last a long time.
Using UK lamps with UK wiring may cause problems with household insurance, sure I remember someone mentioning that.....

If i could do it again........hmmmm
Take the job offer and relocation when it was offered 7yrs ago
But not looking back as i have some fab friends here in town and i actually love our location now....
ONLY thing i would like to change was the selling price of our old house, if we hadnt listened to the estate agent we would of sold it earlier for a bigger profit, O WELL..thats life
