Again my personal opinion,
But in north van/west van area, I would say the average is probably around the 100K, (for a two working couple).
If both were working in a skilled trade/line of work, then it would be quite easy to earn 150K at least.
One thing I think to remember is when renting is it is dead money, at the end of the year/s you own nothing.
If you buy, at the end of the year/s you get a return, and eventually own it.
