It's interesting, i know more pissheads in England than Canada yet i they're less likely to drive while under the influence compared to the Canadians.

On the flip side, i also know more drug users in Canada than i do in the UK.

I wonder if this is a rural vs. urban Canadian issue? For example, I've always been under the impression that drinking and driving is taken quite seriously by the locals in Vancouver. Don't know about other parts of Canada.

It's usual in rural Ontario. After the local iced hockey games there are lines of trucks queueing to get out of the car park, most of the occupants have a beer going, some also have visible joints. Both the local cops and the OPP are there but in a Nelsonian capacity.

Edited to add: The drink drivers i know are further afield yet the drug users are mainly urban Vancouverites.
