Squires, I believe (there's one on Fennell Ave East at Feneworth Place, just past Upper Wentworth). Other than that, you can check on SoccerBars.com - Soccer bars in Hamilton and give the pub a call to make sure it's still currently showing them. Slainte seems popular for watching games, but I hear it's under new ownership - so that may change.

Pretty sure some of the pubs down Augusta also do.

:)

Interesting. We went there a couple of weeks ago and didn't think much of it. We must have gone to all the wrong places!!!

I've been many times. Been to concerts at the FirstOntario Centre (formerly Copps Coliseum) and Hamilton Place Theatre. Been to McMaster University a few times - nice campus. There doesn't seem to be much in Hamilton at first sight. Downtown is grotty in places and there are quite a few derelict lots and a lot of street people around. My daughter described it as 'sketchy'. But when you explore a bit more, there's more to the place. I mean it's not somewhere I would look to move to per se, but if I got a job offer there I'd at least think about it.

We went to the downtown area. It was old and dirty.
We did drive through again last week and found a more modern part so maybe third time we'll actually like it. 😊

Last weekend we went to Brantford. Brantford is properly a dump.

Coming back we zig-zagged across the 11 up the Lynden Road, and across the 99. Signs said "Welcome to Hamilton" as well as "Flamborough" and "Ancaster". Technically that's all Hamilton but it looks like Connecticut; affluent, horsey, well tended.

But isn't that where Grayne Wetsky was born

Re: Hamilton Ontario

Can anyone suggest a decent area in Hamilton that would accommodate a family with children aged 1,3 & 10.

Ideally schools within close proximity and Junior Kindergarten

Need an area that is accessible to amenities for people on foot (wife doesnt drive)

looking for 3 - 4 bed property ( anyone recommend property sites to view)

Really appreciate everyones feedback
