Start by checking out the wiki in this forum. Lots of info there. You may also want to elaborate on why yours is a complicated situations, others may have been through something similar, what it is you do or want to do etc.

Re: greetings
thanks Aviator,
by complicated I meant my relationship and family life is at the minute complicated.
I currently work in a middle management position in a plastics factory and would hope to find similar over there aswell, ultimately its all I know I guess.

Re: greetings
Many have come here with complicated family issues and managed their own application, some have used a lawyer or adviser. For myself, my OH's situation was complex and involved the courts, we did our own application. It was arduous, but doable (and saved a bundle into the process).

yeah when I actually get to the point of immigration ill go through someone that specialises in it I think. but for right now i'm just kinda hoping to get a bit of a better feel of it there from actual expats.
as for complicated, I mean as in right now I have a family but in the coming future that's going to change somewhat and it'll just be me with maybe 1 or 2 of my sons coming with me

Hi welcome...
I went through some struggles to bring kids over if you need some support on that front. Don't know much about your line of work. But why Windsor particularly? Wouldn't you just want to go wherever the job is?

Hi DandNHill, thanks for the offer of support. the answer to the question you asked about Windsor is actually fairly simple.

You have a family right now but are moving to Canada for love? Internet romance?

Re: greetings
I may as well get it all out in the open and said I suppose!
yes I mean the love of someone who lives in Windsor and not Windsor itself. lol
and yes Tirytory it started as an internet romance. I was as sceptical as the next about such things but here I am in this situation after finding someone online.

How old are your kids? I'm guessing by your username you are not a huge amount older than me...
Have you been to Canada before?
