Here in Nova Scotia, Port Hawkesbury, so Cape Breton in fact, we paid 1,22 the last time we filled up, and now down to 1,10, but that is with the government dropping the price by 10 cents. Let's hope they keep it down, as we bought a sensible car, a Dodge Ram Quad Cab Gas guzzler.

When we first got here the average price at our local garage was 107.6 per litre. This has gone up to the highest level of 109.9 and recently it went down to 102.6. Then at the weekend we were shocked to see it below the dollar at 99.6, so imagine how impressed we were today when it went even lower to 97.3.
If it goes any lower I will report back. How's the prices where you are?

We went into the local garage this afternoon and commented that the gas was even cheaper at 92.3. However, when we pulled up to the pump, the guy asked to wait a minute before starting to get gas as he was just putting the price down.
Sure enough a minute or so later he told us to pump away and the price was down to 91.5.
I can never in a million years imagine a UK petrol station asking you to wait whilst they put the price down, up maybe, but not down.

Makes me shake my head knowing that the Lower Mainland is paying less for their gas, and yet paying for the transit levy. hmmmmmm.....!!

They are excellent cars to drive and a diesel that can do 122 mph(195 km/hr) and with good driving you will return 50-68 mpg.
Yesterday I paid 97p/l for diesel. Last week we drove the equivalent of 1100 km for $97. I averaged 61 mpg on our trip (fully loaded with family and holiday stuff).
Buy a diesel if you want good fuel economy and then you will not worry about gas prices.
