Re: Fall pictures
It seems the trees are aware that the first day of fall was yesterday... We still aren't in full effect, but there are a lot more doing their thing now.
Here are a few pics from around the neighbourhood and from the top of the hill...

Re: Fall pictures
Looks fine to me. Second image has the 'Thumbnail' box and image is a suitable size, 5.51kb. To find out the image details (with Windows), put your cursor over the image until it turns into a 'hand shape', right click the mouse and then select on 'properties' with the left mouse button. This will give you the image details.
Dial up users can just hover over an attached picture and see how big it is before deciding to look. Personally I like to post attachments large enough to be a decent desktop. I resize to 1280 x1024 for that reason
Embedded images from my photobucket I usually have resized to 1024x768 using the microsoft powertool resizer for the sake of those on slower connections as they might not have changed their option settings to prevent embedded images automatically loading, but much smaller than that and whats the point in posting a decent picture anyway.

Re: Fall pictures
I took these last weekend, this area is full of Aspen trees so everything turns yellow (I miss the reds from England) and it doesn't last long at all at this altitude..
I am having trouble with the attachments, for some reason they don't appear in the post..

Re: Fall pictures
Took a few more pics today. One of the tree that I have previously posted (thread no 110) that is now completely red. The other is the view from our house across the garden. Most of the trees on our land are evergreens (foreground) but the ones behind are starting to change colour now.
