I can't find great chinese food in Ottawa, tried but failed. No aromatic duck and pancakes, nor the sticky toffee apples/bananas/pineapple deserts either! what with that?

Go knock on the door of the Chinese Embassy. Perhaps you'll be invited in for REAL chinese food, then you can spend the evening talking to the big telephone.

I only discovered that Alberta has a lottery a few days ago, it has so little publicity. They do fund community projects, but don't seem to shout about it.

Also:
The high salt content of the food and the fact that all restaurants in Calgary seem to share the same menu!

The size of the chickens.

The fact that supposedly hard-core-Conservative Alberta has province or city owned power companies, airports, public transport, bank and probably others I don't know about yet.
